Easy Guide To Planning Your Kid's Birthday Party
Little kids love celebrating and nothing beats a great celebration with a fun theme. Planning a kid's party in Dubai involves a lot of details and planning. Watching your kiddo turn another year old is a bittersweet moment and it's understandable that you want it to be perfect, enjoyable and memorable.
Ideally, you want a celebration that is filled with fun, creative surprises and entertainment that will keep all your little guests occupied. Kids should be having fun, but let's not forget about the parents! At the end of the day, don't they deserve to unwind and have a good time as well?
To make the planning process as easy as possible we are sharing some party planning tips today…
1. Pick a theme
No one says you have to pick one but it's always easier to focus your ideas, details around one. It doesn't have to be a complicated one, you can even go with a color as your theme. A theme can be anything, a place (England), food & drink (candy, ice cream, pizza), a book, nature, a movie - as you can see clearly anything!
2. Set your budget
Figure out your budget as early as possible, as it will determine every little detail of your party. Once you have it you can start allocating it to the various areas of the event and decide where to splurge and where to save.
List of expenses you need to think about are:
- Food & Drinks
3. Finalize the details
Invitation: You might decide on sending a paperless invitation, but we love using a nice paper invitation. Kids love getting an actual invite to hold.
Venue: Throwing a party in your own backyard is the easiest solution. First of all, you don't have to pay for venue rental, the kids have space to run around and have fun. The only thing you need to take care of is to rent tables, chairs, linens from a rental company.
Décor: We are firm believers that kids' party décor can still be chic. Some fresh blooms adding pop of color to the table, nice table runner, cute plates and napkins. Any of these would look great at an adult celebration, but they still feel fun enough for kiddos.
Food & Drinks: When setting up your menu, always consider the time of the day. If the celebration starts at lunch, most probably you need to take care of providing a proper lunch for your guests, however if you planning a late afternoon party, it will call for snack and sweets rather than a full meal.
Activity: Whether it's a piñata, pin the tail, twister or limb - kids will love if you include fun games and activities. Not every party needs a game plan, but it's always a good idea to have a few on your list.
Photographer: Event if you are on a tight budget, we believe it's worth to splurge on a professional photographer. You don't have to worry about snapping photos, and you will end up with gorgeous professional photography. Memories will always stay with you.
Helpers: Last but not least, we still believe there is no greater gift you can give yourself than hiring an event planner for your kiddo's birthday. They will take care of everything: the creative side, the entertainment, the catering, the décor and venue management, leaving you enjoy all the important moments.
